My photos of Tokyo are better than Osaka, partly because it seems every time I go to Osaka it is raining. I really like hanging around the bad part of town where the Hotel Escargot is, Dobustuenmae-cho. It is so sad and strange and un-Japanese.

Osaka-jo koen (Osaka Castle park) is the smaller equivalent to Tokyo's Yoyogi Park.
Great atmosphere, lots of music, crazy people--everything.

Osaka is blessed with fantastic signage.
