First Cut This is where I realized I had no idea what was going to happen. The pig was very big, and it got loose. Trying to catch it was difficult, and I stood helplessly as everyone else ran after this giant pig running around the yard. Eventually it was caught and wrestled down. Quickly the father took his knife and jabbed it in its neck. The pig made an unforgettable squeal. All of the sudden the mother appeared out of nowhere and rushed over to the pig's neck to push a bowl under the knife to catch the blood spurting out. I didn't know what was going on, but was transfixed. My friend took the bowl from her mother. It smelled horrible. I couldn't have guessed what was next.
